How to associate a token to your account

The Hedera network is unique in that a token must be associated to your account before it can be sent or received.

How to associate a Fungible Token:

1. In the Assets tab click Add Token
2. Select a Popular Token from the drop down menu -or- Enter a Token ID
3. Review the Token Information
4. Click Associate Token

How to associate a Non-fungible Token:

1. In the NFTs tab click Associate
2. Enter a Token ID
3. Review the Token Information
4. Click Associate Token

A token only needs to be associated once. If you attempt to associate a token that is already associated, the Token already associated message will appear.
